Our Story
Elizabeth Briggs has worked in corporate positions for 25 years providing administration, human resources and communications expertise at senior management level. Working in a variety of industries, her ability to analyse and improve systems and procedures enabled companies to increase their levels of customer service and enhance the way the company communicated with its stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Commencing in the computer division of a large bank, her analytic skills grew quickly and she moved into the risk management industry, pioneering the development of computerised recording and analytical risk management systems for the clients of an international risk management company. After leaving that position to start a family, Elizabeth returned to the workforce on a part time basis until her children were at school. She was then offered a full time position with a multinational company working with a variety of departments including administration, international marketing and marketing services.
She has studied journalism and PR communications, which she has utilised in the newsroom of a major television station as well as working for small PR consultancies.
In many of her roles in the corporate arena, she noticed that as executives were moved around the world, the relocation processes left a lot to be desired and families needed better support in settling into a new home and a new environment. Countless times she has been asked advice on how to find someone who would do extra tasks outside of business life, to source corporate gifts, to arrange for tradesmen to be admitted to houses, type personal documents, furnishing new apartments for friends and colleagues, remind bosses of important birthdays and anniversaries – and so on.
Realising there is an ever–increasing demand for innovative, professional concierge and shopping services for busy or inexperienced people, Elizabeth established Sourcing Divas. This service will specialise in the new home sector of the marketplace (economically setting up homes for buyers), and will also operate as an executive service and errand service for busy executives. Her passion for helping people be able to concentrate on the things that are most important to them, will ensure that Sourcing Divas stands out as a provider of great service to busy people who would rather use their time doing other things.
